Panic Kieffer
July 26, 2006 - March 18, 2024
Panic! has been my best friend for the last 17 years, and she was just shy of her 18th birthday.
I would love to say all who knew her loved her, but that would be a lie. For most of her life, she shied away from strangers. She really only liked three people, myself, my mom, and Draven (Draven doesn't really count as a person, but oh well). Everyone else she was terrified of and would hide as soon as they set foot in the house. As a result, she was dubbed a unicorn, and you would be lucky if she allowed you to catch a glimpse of her, as a select few know.
She was a sweet cat who loved to talk up a storm, constantly yelling about who knows what. She loved to cuddle but would quickly let you know when she had enough. She was a lover of treats, canned food, and a catnip connoisseur. She also loved to roll around in a stinky pile of clothes or pair of shoes, bathing in the aroma. I always got a kick out of this when she did it, as weird as it seemed. She had a lot of personality, so much in that tiny body.
I will miss my companion and her bright blue eyes. Although she may be gone, I will hold her in my heart forever. I am so happy she chose me to be her mama and stuck around for as long as she did. Rest in peace, Panic! You and Draven, your best friend, are together again.
